She’s a history nerd who’s always had a thing for her big brother’s best friend. He’s a novelist who isn’t prepared for the sexy woman his friend’s little sister has grown up to be. Research has never been so much fun.

When I choose to set my next historical fiction novel in my hometown, it’s the perfect excuse to spend time with old friends for a few weeks.  My best friend suggests his younger sister as my research assistant, which sounds great . . . until I lay eyes on her and realize that Liberty has transformed into the woman of my dreams. Bad news is that as my best friend’s younger sister, she’s off-limits.
